The scope of work consists of providing Detailed Engineering Design and Contract Administration Services for the Southwest Sewer Catchment Area Upgrades. Services include project management, consultant progress reports, engagement consultations and heritage resource work, wastewater hydraulic modelling services, and all aspects of design, construction documentation, procurement, contract administration (resident and non-resident), factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and project closeout for multiple contracts: River Crossing Twin Force Mains, Downstream Gravity Sewer Interceptor, Linacre Lift Station, Upstream Sewer Work, and Kilkenny Lift Station Demolition. Additional allowances for heritage work, geotechnical work, and other work are included. Consultants are required to follow relevant City of Winnipeg manuals, guidelines, standards, and policies, and must utilize specific investment planning templates as part of the capital cost estimate development tasks. Consultants should bring any inconsistencies between City manuals and good industry practice to the Consulting Contract Administrator’s attention.
