The DeWitt County Property Committee is accepting bids for the installation of two new Weil McLain SVF 725 boilers at the DeWitt County Correctional Facility. Scope of work shall include: 1. Disassemble and remove two old Kewanee boilers and associated piping and pumping 2. Install two new Weil McLain SVF 725 boilers 3. Re pipe new boilers to existing supply and returns 4. Install new valves so each boiler can be isolated for future service 5. Reuse existing system pumps 6. Re pipe gas line to tie into new boilers with new valves, unions, and drip legs 7. Run new condensate drains to floor drain with neutralizer due to being cast iron 8. Tie into existing high voltage power 9. Run relief valves to floor drains 10. Install new flue and intake through roof for new boilers 11. Pressurize system and verify no leaks 12. Tie system into existing Prolon controls and verify operation Submit bids via email to DeeDee Rentmeister, County Administrator at drentmeister@dewittcountyil.gov or deliver to the DeWitt County Building, 201 W Washington St., Clinton, IL no later than 3:00 p.m. on February 4, 2026. DeWitt County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
