Furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the construction of: Contract 2026 Water Main Relay Package #1 26th Avenue - 85th Street to 87th Place 27th Avenue - 75th Street to 76th Street 35th Avenue - 67th Street to 69th Street Quantities - 2,950 LF 8" Main; 40 public side lead service replacements; with service reconnections; hydrant installations; and restoration of the road and parkway all in accordance with specifications on file in the office of Kenosha Water Utility Engineering Services. Pre-Qualification: Yes Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Kenosha Water Utility as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract.In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the Kenosha Water Utility as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance as enumerated in the specifications. The Kenosha Water Utility reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the Kenosha Water Utility.
