Site work for a mixed-use development in Shawano, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
400 LF of Sanitary Sewer with Manhole, 450 LF of Watermain with Valve and Hydrant, 3 each Sanitary Laterals and 3 each Water Services, and Site Restoration. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Proposal Forms provided in the Contract Documents. A bid bond payable to the City of Shawano in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee, that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and the Insurance Certificate within ten (10) days after the receipt of the Notice of Award by the City. If the bidder fails to file such a Contract and Bonds within the time set forth above, the Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City of Shawano Common Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the City. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled opening of bids without the consent of the City. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified for this project in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes 66.29(2). Qualifications shall be emailed to the Department of Public Works office not less than 5 working days prior to the bid deadline. The Owner's decision as to the qualifications shall be final.
