As of March 02, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Work consists of removing existing gutter, shingles, and underlayment down to the wood deck, and installing new water and ice membrane, synthetic underlayment, fiberglass shingles, and gutters on 16 buildings. Bidders must submit a Bid Form, Bid Bond, Form of Non-Collusive Affidavit, and Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders in a bid envelope with their bid. Letters regarding Minority Participation and Section 3 Participation must also be included. A bid bond of 5% is required for bids over $25,000 from a bonding company listed in Circular 570. Contractors must comply with Instructions to Bidders, Supplementary Instructions to Bidders, and General Conditions of the Contract, including evidence of an Affirmative Action Program and compliance with Executive Order 11246. Minimum salaries per included wage rates apply. Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 requirements apply, obligating contractors to utilize lower income residents as trainees and/or employees to the greatest extent feasible. The Shawano City Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening without consent.
