The work of this contract comprises the repair and rehabilitation of Bridge No. 9695, an existing concrete box culvert structure buried approximately three feet beneath Avenida Vista Grande, consisting of five 8' x 8' cells and extending approximately 43 feet in length. The bridge crosses the Canada de Los Alamos waterway, with project limits beginning approximately 100 feet northwest of the NM 64 and Avenida Vista Grande intersection and extending 0.104 miles. The project includes structural repairs to the bridge and associated roadway improvements to address documented deterioration and scour. Work items include, but are not limited to, removal and replacement of degraded concrete; preservation and replacement of reinforcement bars as necessary; epoxy injection of concrete cracks; application of waterrepellent treatments to exposed concrete surfaces; asphalt paving repairs along roadway shoulders; and replacement of guardrails, pavement markings, and signage. Drainage improvements include scour countermeasures consisting of removal of existing riprap and installation of a new concrete apron and gabion baskets at the outflow. The Santa Fe County Public Works Department requests bids from licensed, insured, and qualified contractors to provide construction services for the Avenida Vista Grande Bridge Reconstruction Project at Eldorado Community in Santa Fe County, utilizing construction plans and technical specifications from WSP Engineers. A completed bid package must be submitted in a sealed container clearly indicating the bid title, number, and the bidding firm's name and address on the outside. All bidders must attend and be on time for a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit at the designated location in order to submit a bid. Bids certify compliance with all stated regulations and requirements.
