Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,880-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The Project consists of Modernization of one 1,920 SF and six 960 SF Portable Buildings for use as a Repair and Storage Facility for the District's Music Program. Work includes, but not limited to, new flooring, ceiling tiles, interior and exterior painting, wet and dirty repair spaces, a finishing space, an accessible restroom, roll-up door, metal ramps, compressed air system, electrical power for repair equipment, and low voltage systems. Metal canopy structure. Sitework: AC paving replacement, earthwork, underground utilities (wet and dry), bollards, accessible parking, concrete walks, and fencing. Project No. 23015 Sealed bids are invited for SUSD Musical Instrument Repair & Storage Facility. Bidders are required to possess a State of California B License and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Only prequalified bidders may submit bids. There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit. The successful bidder must meet or make a good faith effort toward the three percent Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goal. Contractors and all subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates as set by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. The project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement and to the District's Project Labor Agreement. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with Public Contract Code section 20111.5. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified will be deemed non-responsive and returned unopened. Possession of a State of California B License and registration as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations is required. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is also required.
