Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, and supplies necessary to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, part replacements, callback service, and systematic service of vertical transportation equipment, including elevators, escalators, and platform/chair lifts, ensuring compliance with ANSI A17.1 (latest adopted edition) and all relevant Federal, State, and local codes. The contractor must provide all required Material Safety Data Sheets, maintain optimum operating condition of covered equipment, respond to emergency calls 24/7, and correct deficiencies within specified timeframes. Work must minimize disruptions and adhere to all facility security requirements, including providing lists of authorized personnel and complying with security procedures. All used materials and debris must be disposed of according to regulations. The contractor shall not be compensated for work that could have been observed prior to the submission of the quotation. All work areas are to be kept clean, and prohibited actions include smoking, alcohol, and illegal drug use on site. The contractor must also comply with requirements regarding supervision, personnel qualifications, nondiscrimination, and submission of various reports and certifications. The contract may include additional services or locations as determined during its term.
