Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Gladwin, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a four-unit transportation facility.
Construct 4-unit t-hangar, including electrical work, concrete foundation work, restoration, and incidentals. Sealed bids will be received and must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check payable to airport sponsor in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price. Bidders must provide documentation of their relevant experience and references, submit a statement of experience and financial status, a list of current jobs, and, if an LLC, may need to provide personal guarantees. Upon request, bidders must meet with representatives to discuss construction plans, methodology, and schedule. Each bidder is responsible for examining all project requirements. The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and award to the most responsive and responsible bidder. Copies of contract documents are available for a fee, and all requests for project information must be submitted at least five calendar days prior to bid opening. Addenda will be issued as needed and must be acknowledged by bidders. If the selected contractor fails to provide required materials or execute the contract within fifteen calendar days of being furnished the necessary forms, the proposal guaranty will be forfeited.
