Site work for a water / sewer project in St Petersburg, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of St. Petersburg, Florida is seeking the services of a qualified construction management firm to provide construction management services for the 6th Avenue South Infrastructure and Structural Improvements Project. The project involves the replacement of approximately 3,120 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron potable water main along 6th Avenue South from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street South to 3rd Street South. Work includes appropriate testing and disinfection of the new water main, connections to existing water mains and services at each end, as well as installation of associated valves, fittings, fire hydrant assemblies, and appurtenances required to replace the existing main. Upon completion of pipeline construction, a roadway project will modify the 6th Avenue South corridor, including construction of a separated bikeway on the south side of the roadway, which will connect to the Booker Creek Trail. This bikeway is a key recommendation of the Innovation District Streetscape and Connectivity Plan and will be built in conjunction with milling and resurfacing of the entire roadway.
