The City of Germantown, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to construction of Signal Upgrades on SR-177 (Germantown Road/West Street) Intersection at Poplar Pike/McVay Road (LM 2.38) in Germantown. This project will include items primarily pertaining to traffic signals. This project is a federally-funded Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) project as a Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) locally managed program. The project shall be accomplished in accordance with TDOT Local Programs guidelines. The professional consultant engineering consulting firm must be on TDOT's pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT by the deadline for the Letters of Interest. The prequalified firm must have unlimited status. Responsibilities of the professional consultant firm include, but are not limited to: Required Scope of Services Design Utility Coordination Permitting Plans, Specifications, Construction Budget Assist with Right of Way & Excess Land Coordination Bidding Invoicing Construction Engineering and Inspection Closeout Documents Question Deadline 01/27/2026 at 4:00 PM CT The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
