Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 523-square-foot, one-story above grade, 0-story below grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of building upgrades and site improvements of Tylehurst Lift Station. The major components include structural and architectural upgrades, mechanical process and building services upgrades, supply and installation of wastewater pumping equipment, supply and installation of a standby natural gas generator, electrical upgrades, automation and instrumentation upgrades, civil and municipal services upgrades outside of the station, temporary by-pass pumping and manhole installation, excavation, shoring and backfill, site restoration and clean up, and work as per drawings and specifications. The contractor shall supply and install all new materials and equipment shown on the construction drawings and specifications unless otherwise indicated as existing or supplied by others, and demolish all materials and equipment shown on the demolition drawings and specifications unless otherwise indicated to remain. The work shall comply with the City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy and Universal Design Policy.
