Lancaster County, South Carolina is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide airport engineering and related professional services on an on-call, as-needed basis. Services will be performed as authorized during the term of the contract, which is anticipated to be one year with up to four additional one-year renewal options. The County makes no guarantee as to the amount of work or total dollar value of services contracted. Anticipated services may include preparation of environmental assessments, grading and site development plans, storm water and drainage analysis and design, preparation of plans and specifications for paving and rehabilitation of airfield runways, taxiways, aprons, and roadways, architectural and engineering design and construction administration for hangar and terminal facilities, design and construction administration for airfield lighting systems and navigational aids, land acquisition support services, and other related professional engineering services. Selected firms are required to demonstrate knowledge of and experience with federal and state grant programs, including compliance with FAA and South Carolina Department of Aeronautics funding programs.
