The Town of Simsbury is seeking qualified Carpentry Contractors that have both a skilled workforce and appropriate equipment to complete various work assignments on a time and material bases. There is no pre-bid conference scheduled for this invitation. Question Deadline 01/27/2026 Any questions about this project should be directed to: Chris Petron, Project Administrator via email at pubworks@simsbury-ct.gov by phone (860) 658-3222, by fax (860) 408-5416, or by mail Department of Public Works, 66 Town Forest Road, West Simsbury, CT 06070. No oral interpretations shall be made to any respondent as to the meaning of any bid document. To receive consideration, such questions must be received at least five (5) business days before the established date for receipt of bids. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing. The Town is soliciting rates that will be used on an as-needed basis and there is no guarantee for minimum work under this engagement. It is the Town's intention is to keep these rates on file for a period of 2-years. We understand that selected equipment may not be available at all times and that equipment may be bought or sold during the term of this engagement. The Town of Simsbury reserves the right to waive any minor informality in a bid when such a waiver is in the best interest of the Town. Bid date description: Once the first bid is opened, all bids are deemed final and no corrections or alterations may be made.
