If your company does not submit a Bid Bond with your bid; but a certified check, cashier's check or a letter of credit with your bid; a Performance Bond will be required. EDGE is required for bids exceeding $50,000. Participation should include 5% of the full bid amount including labor and materials. EDGE vendors can include labor and material suppliers. The time for Substantial Completion of all Work is 90 consecutive days from the Commencement Date in the Notice to Proceed. Approximate Area: (Approximately 21,229.90 sqft) Full Parking Lot Replacement The asphalt material used will be a PG 64-22 mix design. See ODOT specifications for details. Full depth repair Remove and save concrete parking blocks including pins Saw cut and move existing asphalt away from job site Compact base material with a vibratory compactor or roller if large enough repair area Replace with a minimum of 4 inches of compacted asphalt compacting a maximum of 2 inches per lift. Clean all debris Overlays Crack seal existing cracks larger than ¼ inch Asphalt adjacent to curbs, aprons, ect are to milled a minimum of 1.50 inches deep and 12 inches wide. Tack coat is to be applied on existing asphalt before paving. Existing grades are to be maintained. Eliminate ponding. The overlay is to be a minimum of 1.50 inches compacted. Striping and Pavement Markings Use only non-reflective paint designed for pavement surfaces. The paint is to be applied with a gas or electric airless striping machine. New striping layout and color to match existing at the facility.
