Site work and addition to an educational facility in Northbrook, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Hickory Point Addition & Site Work. Bid security of 10% of the bid is required. The contractor must pay prevailing wage rates for all work as per Illinois law. Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the bid that serves its best interest. The owner reserves the right to set aside a bid from a contractor who does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder must have a written sexual harassment policy in compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Electronic copies of bidding documents are available at no cost from the Construction Manager. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by Nicholas & Associates, Inc. and approved by the owner. Bidders are required to have submitted an AIA 305-Contractors Qualification statement to Nicholas & Associates, Inc. prior to submitting a bid. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for all interested bidders.
