A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Suffolk Public Schools is soliciting lump sum, sealed bids for the replacement of tennis courts at 3 high schools (King's Fork HS, Nansemond River HS & Lakeland HS). The projects are located at the following: King's Fork High School - 351 King's Fork Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434 Nansemond River High School - 3301 Nansemond Pkwy, Suffolk, VA 23434 Lakeland High School - 214 Kenyon Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434 The scope of work consists of the removal and replacement of the existing tennis court surfaces, fencing and competition nets. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held; however, it is highly recommended to visit each site and familiarize yourself with the existing conditions. The last day to submit pre-bid questions shall be 12:00 PM on Tuesday February 3, 2026. The Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete the work as required in the Contract Documents, which are hereby made a part of this contract by reference. It is understood and agreed by the parties hereto that all work shall be performed as required in IFB # - 1845-B and related Contract Documents and shall be subject to inspection and approval by the Owner or its authorized representative. The relationship of the Contractor to the Owner hereunder is that of an independent Contractor. The Contract Documents are defined in the General Conditions and are incorporated herein by reference.
