Description

Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Providence, Rhode Island. Working plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.

This requirement is for comprehensive electrical repair work at the Harwood Maintenance Building to address components damaged by a fire. The scope includes removing and installing a 100-amp fused disconnect, installing a 42-circuit panel board, new circuit breakers, LED lighting fixtures, receptacles, sump pump conduits and conductors, and junction boxes for overhead doors. Additional activities involve running conduits, making terminations, and labeling components. Contractors must provide their own utilities, maintain site safety, clean the site daily, and arrange limited storage. Coordination with the project manager is required to ensure all plans and safety procedures are approved before work begins. All work must be performed by licensed Rhode Island electricians, comply with OSHA standards, and be warranted for one year per FAR clause 52.246-21. An interim life safety and fire protection plan must be implemented, and painting should follow manufacturer guidelines.
