Renovation of a multi-residential development in Massena, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**As of March 9, 2026, the project was awarded to ENI Mechanical, but the awarded amount is not available.** Water Heater Replacement Laurel Terrace Single lump sum bids are required accordance with plans and specifications. Sealed bids shall be marked 'Massena Housing - Water Heater Replacement - Laurel Terrace.' Emailed bids are also acceptable and must be sent to melman@massenahousing.com, jkclark@labellapc.com and tcassell@labellapc.com. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, in the form of a certified check, drawn upon a national or state bank or trust company to the order of "Village of Massena Housing Authority", or a bond from a surety company licensed in the state of New York, with sufficient sureties in a penal sum, and holding certificates of authority in compliance with 31 CFR part 223 Surety Companies Doing Business with the United States., conditioned that if Bidder's proposal is accepted, bidder will enter into a contract for the same, and will execute separate Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) and Section 3-elgible contracting firms are encouraged to consider this Project. Prospective Bidders may request clarifications of the bidding documents at other times from the Architect by sending their written questions to John Clark at 315.268.1338 or Emailing to jkclark@labellapc.com no later than three days prior to bid due date. Owner may release addendums up to two days prior to the bid due date, with the exception of an addendum changing the bid due date. Massena Housing Authority reserves the right to consider all bids for a period of not to exceed forty-five (45) days following the bid opening before awarding the Contract, during which period bids shall not be withdrawn, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids, and to award the Contract in the Owner's best interest.A penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day may be assessed for late substantial completion.
