Pavement markings to be installed in the same locations, sizes, and dimensions of existing markings being replaced. All pavement markings to be thermoplastic, unless otherwise specified, in accordance with City Specifications 321724 and all applicable Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards and guidelines. Replace and add permanent raised pavement markers in designated locations. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to provide for the replacement of striping and markings on specified roadways and intersections. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing appropriate temporary traffic control in work zones which may include, but not be limited to: work zone signage, traffic cones, flagment, detours (if applicable), and/or other devices used o guide road uses. All traffic control devices shall conform to MUTCD provisions. The Contractor shall field check and verify existing conditions prior to work and notify the City's representative of any discrepancies, conflicts, and/or installation concerns immediately upon discovery. IFB forms, requirements, and plans are available to prime bidders only and may be obtained from the Procurement Office located at 3231 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 Prime must complete at least 70% of the work; only 30% of the total project may be completed by approved sub-contractors.
