The project involves furnishing all labor , tools , materials and equipment as necessary to FURNISH AND REPLACE EMERGENCY STANDBY 350kW DIESEL GENERATOR AND ASSOCIATED APPARATUS AT NORTH WAIHEE BOOSTER STATION , in place complete . Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5% ) of the amount total sum bid , including additives , payable to the " County of Maui ", and in compliance with Section 103D - 323 , Hawaii Revised Statutes , as amended . Remove the existing generator, ATS, and appurtenances. Deliver salvageable items to DWS (Department of Water Supply) Kahului Base yard. B. Furnish and install a new 350 kW standby diesel generator, 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. C. Replace the existing 350 kW generator with a new 350 kW generator. D. Generator enclosure and fuel tank base shall be constructed from 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Enclosure shall have motorized intake louver and gravity discharge damper to help close off enclosure from outside weather elements when unit is not running. E. Provide 316 stainless-steel corrosion resistance sub-base fuel tank and anchorage. 1. Sub-based fuel tank base capacity shall be 660 gallons. F. Furnish and install replacement UL1008 rated ATS with controls, conduits, and testing 1. Schneider Electric ASCO series 300 ATS or pre-approved equal. . Replace the existing ATS with 3 pole 400A open transition standard ATS in NEMA-1 enclosure. ATS should have means for remote monitoring and control via SCADA and be able to transfer to emergency power during power outages. D. Generator enclosure and fuel tank base shall be constructed from 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. I (2) N.C., Phase Rotation Monitor, Optional Pilot lights-primary red/green, Alternate source red/green. I. Provide startup testing, load-bank testing, training, and O&M documentation.
