Addition to an educational facility in Port Chester, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a 23,878-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Thomas A. Edison School Security Vestibule Addition at Thomas A. Edison School, for General Construction Work, Electrical Construction Work, and HVAC Construction Work. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form as detailed in the specifications, placed in sealed opaque envelopes clearly marked with the job and bidder name/address, and addressed to the Purchasing Agent. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent of the total bid. Bidders must hold their bid price for forty-five days after the opening. Only contract documents obtained via the designated online planroom or official location will be recognized. All addenda will be distributed to identified plan holders. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the School District. Certification of the bonding company is required. Although attendance at the pre-bid meeting and walk-through is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
