Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Construction of a multi-residential development in the zone Cité-du-Havre du Montreal between the previously completed project Habitat 67 and the cinema studios MELS. The new development will include approximately 2,600 to 3,000 residential units half of which will be affordable. The site offers an opportunity to create affordable housing near the city centre. TIMLELINE: The project is preliminary. The Canada Lands Company (SIC) has just acquired approximately 600,000 sq ft of land and announced that it will develop a new residential project Cité-du-Havre, on land located between the St. Lawrence River and Old Montreal. The guidelines of the development plan already established for this area by the City of Montreal will accelerate the program implementation. Scope of the specific projects, budgets and timelines of their development are being finalized.
