The Town of Hurley New Mexico is requesting competitive proposals for abatement of asbestos, lead-based paint, lead-containing paint, PCBs and mold in the Chino Mine General Office (GO) Building located on the corner of Chino Boulevard and Carrasco Avenue in Hurley, New Mexico. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 Proposal Question Deadline All questions must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Contact Darlene McBride, Town Clerk Town of Hurley, NM PO Box 65 Hurley, NM 88043 Phone: (575)537-2287 Email: townclerk@townofhurleynm.us The Town of Hurley (hereafter referred to as the "Town") is soliciting qualifications and proposals for professional environmental services from qualified asbestos abatement firms to coordinate remediation and cleanup activities on the former Chino Mine office building in Hurley, Grant County, New Mexico a two-story structure that is approximately 5,000 square feet in size and is owned by the Town of Hurley (see Appendix E for a detailed description of the building). The Town plans to select a single Respondent that meets the requirements outlined in this RFP. The Town of Hurley reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or cancel this RFP in its entirety.
