The project involves the supply, installation, and disposal of commercial-grade fitness equipment for use in a public, high-traffic fitness center at Cole Harbour Place. The existing specified equipment is to be removed and replaced with new selectorized machines that focus on durability, ease of use, and accessibility. The new equipment must support a wide range of fitness programs and user types and help improve operational efficiency. Delivery is to include installation, setup, removal of packaging, and functional testing, with all costs (including shipping, customs, and taxes) prepaid by the supplier. Equipment is to be delivered to the 3rd floor fitness center, accessible via elevator. Warranty terms are specified for structural, mechanical, and labor components. The contract is subject to the Halifax Regional Municipality’s Supplier Code of Conduct, excluding Living Wage requirements. Pricing must be DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), with the total cost all-inclusive.
