The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform landscaping and invasive plant management services to maintain and enhance the aesthetic and environmental quality of the Coast Building grounds. Services include regular mowing of turf areas, edging sidewalks and curbs, removing grass clippings and debris, pruning shrubs and trees, replacing dead plants with approved species, applying fertilizers, and managing pests and diseases. Weed and invasive species control is required, specifically targeting Chinese Tallow and Brazilian Pepper plants. Mulching and bed maintenance must ensure a consistent depth of three inches, and irrigation systems must be inspected, tested, and repaired as needed. Seasonal services include installing approved seasonal color and performing spring and fall cleanups. Coastal aesthetic enhancements should incorporate salt-tolerant and native plants to reflect the local environment. Invasive plant removal involves identifying and removing approximately 91 Chinese Tallow trees and 30 Brazilian Pepper plants from designated areas using proper felling and disposal methods while minimizing disturbance to native vegetation and wetlands. Deliverables include monthly maintenance reports, invasive species removal reports with photos, and immediate incident notifications for irrigation failures, pest outbreaks, or safety hazards. All work must comply with OSHA and EPA regulations, site-specific safety guidelines, and environmental protection standards. The contract includes a base year and four one-year option periods, with services invoiced monthly and milestone tasks compensated upon verified completion.
