In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for opening ofthe bids. Under this section, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment required to install and test reconnected Lateral Connections as specified or required. The work under this section shall include, but not limited to, the following Advising residents or others discharging into the lateral connection in writing and by documented site visits ofthe day and time that they will not be able to discharge into the connection, and receiving acknowledgment and approval from same; Keeping the shut-down (no flow) period to an absolute minimum; Reconnecting lateral connections to the new ore rehabilitated sewer; Clean-up ofthe sites of all work; Testing; and All other work required for a satisfactory reconnection oflateral connections. Bidders are required to submit a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, along with consent of surety from a Bonding Company.
