Demolition, site work and new construction of a detention facility in Paterson, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a detention facility; for the construction of a 195,000-square-foot, six-story above grade detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The County of Passaic is requesting bid proposals for 11 Marshall Street Redevelopment - Phase 2 During the bid opening, bidders will be announced as well as bid amounts, and thereafter the bid tabulation will be posted online. However, if exigent circumstances exist, accommodations can be made by providing a copy of the Bid Documents via overnight delivery at the bidder's expense. Bid proposals can be submitted in three (3) ways: (1) via hand-delivery during regular business hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; (2) via certified mail; or (3) overnight delivery. All bid proposals must be submitted at the address listed. By typing your signature on the County bid document, you are doing so with the intent to sign your bid submission and consent to the terms of the County's bid specifications pursuant to the Uniformed Electronic Transaction Act. Late proposals or bids will not be accepted. The County is not responsible for undelivered bid proposals or bid proposals otherwise not arriving on time. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, the County reserves the right to reject bid proposals for the reasons stated therein. The work on the Project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete the tasks set forth in the Project specifications and as shown on the construction plans. Question Deadline 02/25/2026 Respondents are required to comply with the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq.), the Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Rules (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1, et seq.), and all other applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances concerning affirmative action goals and equal employment opportunity. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic ("Board") reserves the right to consider bid proposals for sixty (60) days after receipt. The Board further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to waive minor informalities when authorized to do so under the law. FPA No. 4105.044R1 The Work consists of the following: 1. Construction of a new 6 story county governmental facility with attached parking garage in Paterson NJ. Building will be approx. 195,000 square feet 2. The basement of the structure will contain the offices and the corrections and processing departments of the Passaic County sheriff 3. The building will be constructed of poured concrete foundations and steel structure. The perimeter walls will be metal stud with masonry veneer construction with continuous and cavity insulation. 4. Interior finishes include predominately painted GWB wood stud wall partitions with, wood & metal doors, LVT and carpet flooring. Acoustical, GWB and exposed painted structure as finish will occur at ceilings. 5. Site work includes excavation, new storm and sanitary lines, electrical and gas utility services. A new garage and drive ways are to be provided. All new site utilities including natural gas, domestic water, fire protection, electrical, sanitary, storm, fiber and low voltage fire alarm interface are to be brought to the project. Refer to project bid drawings and specifications for additional utility information and requirements. The general contractor under this contract is responsible to coordinate and execute the installation of all utilities with the appropriate utility companies including but not limited to PSE&G, The City of Paterson, Passaic County, theConstruction Manager and Architect as required. All above listed work must be included in the bid price.
