A Pre-Bid Conference and site visit will be held at 71 Duckett Avenue, on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 10:00am Renovation of 48 kitchens and bathrooms. Sub Bid Divisions: 9,15,16,GC The Lawrence Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations - Phase 5 at Beacon Courts (MA 10-2 AMP 2), Substantial Completion shall be 230 calendar days. + Final Completion shall be 14 calendar days The work is estimated to cost $2,190,000. New wood baseboard to match existing kitchen baseboard in size and profile (up to 2'-0" per location). Remove deteriorated or damaged gypsum wallboard (one layer) not scheduled for replacement and replace with new plaster base with veneer plaster finish. Patch and paint 2-hour fire-rated gypsum wallboard assembly (two layers) in the Boiler Room within building 7.\Remove, dispose, and replace 10' of damaged, corroded or cracked 4" cast iron drain piping. Provide couplings, hangers/supports and connect to existing cast-iron piping. Remove, dispose, and replace 10' of damaged or corroded 1/2" copper supply line. Provide couplings, hangers/supports, 3 fittings and connect to existing copper piping. Remove, dispose, and replace 10' of damaged or corroded 3/4" copper supply line. Provide couplings, hangers/supports, 3 fittings and connect to existing copper piping. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to Architect. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
