Separate sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the complete construction of the Northwoods ATV Trail Extension Phase I from Malmo to Hwy 65 in Aitkin County, Minnesota. The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, the following major quantities: 14.83 acres of clearing and grubbing, 3,648 cubic yards of granular borrow, 306 road stations of subgrade preparation, 2,333 cubic yards of aggregate base (CV) Class 5, 36 tons of Type SP 12.5 wearing course mix, one 115” span RC pipe-arch apron, 16 linear feet of 115” span RC pipe-arch culvert, 18 cubic yards of random riprap Class III, 6 mailbox relocations, 2 end treatments with flared terminals, 12.5 linear feet of traffic barrier design A8307, 5 sign relocations, 70.50 square feet of sign panels, 8,750 linear feet of sediment control log, 1,027 cubic yards of common topsoil borrow, and 11.94 acres of turf establishment. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond amounting to 5% of the total bid, payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute the Agreement in accordance with the Bid and the other Contract Documents.
