Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
In general, the work consists of building maintenance and improvement as well as building demolition at three DNR properties within Dane County. At Governor Nelson State Park, the toilet and shower buildings and the fish cleaning house will receive new siding and roofs, updates to toilets, HVAC, lighting, and plumbing. The maintenance shop will receive a new roof and select electrical improvements. The Military Ridge State Trail, Mount Horeb Depot, will receive updates to toilet rooms, HVAC, lighting, and plumbing; this building will also have a new roof as well as the addition of gutters and downspouts. At the Hook Lake Wildlife Area, three buildings will be demolished; an existing metal building will have a new roof and a new gravel access drive added. No verbal explanation or instructions will be given in regard to the meaning of the drawings or specifications during the bid period. Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before MEP bidding commences. If a project does not include any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection divisions of work, bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architects/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before GPC bid opening Question Deadline 02/13/2026
