Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
In general, the work consists of building maintenance and improvement as well as building demolition at three DNR properties within Dane County. At Governor Nelson State Park, the toilet and showwer buildings and fish cleaning house will receive new siding and roofs, updates to toilets, HVAC, lighting and plumbing. The maintenance shop will have a new roof and select electrical improvements. At Military Ridge State Trail, Mount Horeb Depot will receive updates to toilet rooms, HVAC, lighting and plumbing, a new roof as well as the addition of gutters and downspouts. At Hook Lake Wildlife area, three buildings will be demolished, and an existing metal building will have a new roof as well as a new gravel access drive added.
