Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norcross, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project involves intersection improvements consisting of 0.223 miles of clearing and grubbing, grading, roadway widening, sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, striping, traffic signals, and ITS installation. The quantities include earthwork of less than 2,500 cubic yards, curb and gutter of 950 linear feet, concrete flat work of 570 square yards, storm drain pipe of 20 linear feet, and asphalt of 280 tons. Bids must be typed or submitted in ink and returned in a sealed container marked with the project number and company name. All bids are to be submitted in duplicate. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to five percent of the total bid must accompany the bid. Successful vendors are required to meet insurance requirements and submit a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. The insurance and bonding companies must be licensed to do business by the Georgia Secretary of State, authorized by the Georgia Insurance Department, and listed as acceptable sureties by the Department of Treasury, with an A.M. Best rating of A-8 or higher. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and negotiate terms with the lowest responsive, responsible vendor.
