A bid bond from each supplier equivalent to five percent (5%) of the bid price. Such bid bond must be uploaded with the bid. Bid bonds will not be returned until a contract is signed. KCDC wishes to install a new auxiliary mini-split HVAC system to replace the existing HVAC unit in each apartment. Per unit (16 total), the supplier shall: a) Install one AUX 18,000 BTU multi-zone condenser mounted on the exterior brick wall. b) Install one 12,000 BTU indoor unit serving the living room/kitchen area and one 9,000 BTU indoor unit serving the bedroom area. c) Run new refrigerant line sets from the outdoor condenser to each indoor unit. d) Perform electrical work to connect the new system, including running wiring from the breaker panel to a new outdoor disconnect. e) Cut sheetrock as needed to complete electrical and line-set installation. f) Repair and paint all disturbed sheetrock to match existing finishes. g) Verify in the field whether existing HVAC breakers can be reused for the new system. h) Leave the existing HVAC system in place; no demolition or removal is required.
