The City of Siloam Springs is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide janitorial services for City facilities. The scope of services includes cleaning of city facilities on specified schedules, with detailed cleaning requirements for each building such as City Hall, Community Development, Courts, Electric, Police Department, Library, Public Works, Transfer Station, and Parks & Recreation. Tasks include but are not limited to cleaning entrance glass, fixtures, furniture, doors, walls, switches, waste and trash removal, sanitizing fountains, kitchen and restroom areas, stocking paper and soap products, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and special detailing as outlined for each facility. Qualified firms must submit one hard copy of their signed proposal by the specified deadline. Proposals must contain all information necessary for evaluation, a compensation schedule, and must follow required formats. The City reserves the right to request additional information, reject any proposals, and is not liable for any costs incurred in proposal preparation. Firms are instructed to direct all inquiries to the designated contact, submit all required documentation, and not to contact City employees or officials outside the designated process. The contract is for one year with the possibility of auto-renewal for up to two additional years if both parties agree.
