The City of Siloam Springs seeks sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the renovation of the historic 1895 Queen-Anne-style gazebo located in City Park. The project includes structural repairs, decking replacement, concrete and hardscape work, railing, and painting. Bidders must have previous experience with historic renovation and are expected to perform the work with care, precision, and respect for existing materials, profiles, and architectural character. Bidders must also demonstrate the ability to complete the project within four calendar months of executing the contract. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes before the specified deadline, with "Sealed Bid" written on the envelope. Sealed bids may only be submitted in person or by mail-electronic submission is not permitted. Complete specifications can be obtained from the Parks and Recreation Department. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities. Bids must remain valid for ninety days. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, provided it serves the City's best interests. Approximate Construction Cost is $55,000-$60,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
