Renovation of an educational facility in Richton Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for individual Bid Packages for new security cameras at Matteson Elementary School and Sauk Elementary School. A Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract is required. Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. Contractors must pay prevailing wage rates for all work according to Illinois law. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with all requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including wage, notice, and record keeping duties. The awarding body promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept the bid that serves its best interest. The owner may set aside a bid from a contractor who does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of the project. Bidders shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
