Calhoun Intermediate School District is seeking a proposal for the purchase and installation of a conference room multimedia system. The project includes the provision of computer equipment and peripherals for a conference room multimedia system. All goods or services must be delivered F.O.B. Calhoun Area Career Center, 475 East Roosevelt Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49017, with all transportation charges prepaid and included in the bid price. A two-year labor warranty on installation is required, covering all labor and material to repair or replace any defective product or workmanship. The manufacturer of passive telecommunications equipment must provide a minimum fifteen-year component warranty. Contractors must purchase and maintain insurance for workmans compensation, bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage. Bidders must be established firms with at least five years experience in the relevant field and meet all applicable standards and requirements. Equivalent products of any manufacturer may be offered, with the determination of equivalency resting solely with the School District. Bids must include all requested information, and a bid bond or certified check for 5% of the bid amount must accompany the proposal. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked as specified, and bids not meeting these requirements may be rejected.
