All bidders are required to review and cover Divisions 00, 01, and 02 as applicable to their bid package. Each trade contractor is required to review and be bound by all project plans and specifications, addenda, bulletins, ASIs, construction change directives, and bid clarifications. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of all documents and are responsible for checking for updates and revisions. Bidders are required to visit the site and familiarize themselves with local conditions affecting the work. Drawings and specifications are complementary; conflicts or discrepancies must be reported before the bid due date. If no clarification is provided, the highest standard of performance will be required without an increase in the bid amount. Bid proposals must be sealed and clearly marked, with a required bid bond or certified check of not less than 5% of the bid amount. Contracts will be AIA lump sum type. The cost of performance and labor/material bonds must be included in all trade contractor bids exceeding $50,000. Proof of ability to bond is required, and those under $50,000 must state the cost of bonds as an alternate. Post-bid interviews may be scheduled after acceptance, and the owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, alternates, or proposals as it deems in its best interest. No faxed bids will be accepted.
