Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List (OCSL) for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at CFB Borden and its satellite sites in Meaford, Owen Sound, and Barrie. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services with an estimated value of $10 million and below. Contractors and suppliers must submit a request through the MERX posting and indicate their preferred official language. All interested contractors and suppliers must re-apply if they were on the previous OCSL. Bidders must have an active MERX account to submit electronic bids, and their legal name must appear on the OCSL. DCC may require additional pre-qualification requirements for specific tenders and reserves the right to remove contractors who are no longer interested or do not meet performance standards. Contracts may contain security requirements, and tenders may be set aside for Indigenous businesses as specified in the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business. DCC’s Procurement Code of Conduct and standard contract documents apply. Submissions by fax, mail, or email will not be accepted. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
