Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at CFB Kingston and its satellite sites in Brockville and Cornwall. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services with an estimated value of $10 million and below. Contractors and suppliers interested in being on the OCSL must submit a request through the MERX system and indicate their preferred official language. Previous OCSL members must re-apply for the new term. Contractors must maintain an active MERX account to submit electronic bids and must ensure their legal name matches that on the OCSL. DCC reserves the right to verify, remove, or request clarification from applicants, as well as to impose additional pre-qualification or security requirements as necessary. Tenders may be reserved for Indigenous businesses and may require sub-contracting to Indigenous businesses. Contracts may include measurable performance standards and are subject to DCC's Procurement Code of Conduct. DCC Standard Construction Contract Documents will be used, and security requirements may apply depending on the opportunity. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
