Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at 22 Wing North Bay and its satellite sites in Northern Ontario, including but not limited to Sudbury, Timmins, and Sault Ste. Marie, for a three-year term. The Open Construction Source List will be used to tender construction services with an estimated value of $10 million and below. Contractors and suppliers must submit a request through the MERX posting, indicate their preferred official language, and have an active MERX account to submit electronic bids. Contractors previously on the OCSL must re-apply for the new term. Opportunities to bid will be electronically tendered through MERX, and DCC may require attendance at site meetings prior to tender closing. DCC reserves the right to use other source lists or require additional pre-qualification for some tenders. Tenders may be set aside for Indigenous businesses or may include a requirement for sub-contracting to Indigenous businesses. Contracts include measurable performance standards and requirements, and compliance with DCC’s Procurement Code of Conduct is required. All tenders and contracts may contain organization and personnel security requirements. DCC reserves the right to reject applications not meeting the stated requirements and may request clarifications from applicants.
