Contractors and suppliers are invited to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List (OCSL) for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at CFB Petawawa and its satellite site in Pembroke. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services valued at $10 million and below. Contractors and suppliers must submit a request through the MERX posting, indicating their preferred official language, and must have an active MERX account to submit electronic bids. Submissions by fax, mail, or email will not be accepted. Contractors and suppliers previously on the OCSL must re-apply to be included. Bidders must ensure their legal name matches the OCSL listing, and any changes in business name must be reported to DCC and updated on MERX. DCC reserves the right to use other source lists, require additional pre-qualification for specific tenders, and set aside tenders for Indigenous businesses as per the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Contracts may include requirements for performance standards, security clearances, and compliance with DCC's Procurement Code of Conduct. Applications may be rejected if requirements are not met, and clarifications or confirmations may be requested. By responding, contractors and suppliers consent to public disclosure of their inclusion on the OCSL.
