Contractors and suppliers are invited to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List (OCSL) for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at 8 Wing Trenton and its satellite sites in Belleville, Peterborough, and Prince Edward County for three fiscal years. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services valued at $10 million and below. Interested contractors and suppliers must submit their requests through the MERX posting and indicate their preferred official language, as all documents and communications will occur in the language selected. Previous OCSL members must re-apply. Submissions by fax, mail, or email are not accepted. Only those registered on the OCSL may bid on tenders, and the registered legal name must match. Contractors may be required to meet additional pre-qualification requirements or security clearances for specific tenders. DCC reserves the right to use other source lists, set aside tenders for Indigenous businesses, or require subcontracting to Indigenous businesses. Contracts will include measurable performance standards and are subject to DCC’s Procurement Code of Conduct. DCC may remove firms from the OCSL for failure to meet requirements, performance standards, or as a result of ineligibility or suspension. Standard contract documents and requirements for security clearances are applicable, depending on the specific tender.
