As of March 23, 2026, the project was awarded to Helm Electric Facility Solutions, Inc., with an awarded amount of $949,539.50. The work consists mainly of installing a traffic signal and roadway lighting at IL Route 38 (Roosevelt Rd) at Technology Blvd in the City of West Chicago. The net length of improvements is approximately 1890 feet or 0.36 miles. The project is funded with Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, MFT, and Local funds. The work includes traffic control devices, traffic control signal systems, and roadway lighting as shown on the plans and as specified. The DCEO Grant requires Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Goal of 28%, with 18% of the grant dollars going to minority-owned business enterprises (MBE or WMBEs), 10% of the grant dollars going to women-owned business enterprises (WBE or WMBE), or to persons with disabilities-owned business enterprises (PBE).
