Site work and paving for a road / highway in Delafield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes milling 2 inches of asphalt pavement over 37,800 square yards, 4,760 cubic yards of excavation below subgrade, 2,160 linear feet of butt joints, placing 1,370 tons of HMA pavement binder, 4,920 tons of HMA pavement surface, and one manhole rehabilitation. This is a unit price contract, and the quantities provided are for bid comparison. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN. All blanks on the electronic bid form must be filled in. All bidders must file a Bidders Qualification Statement with the Owner by 3:00 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026, unless previously submitted. Bids require a 5% bid security. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price. Listing of all subcontractors and suppliers with values of $1,000 or more is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid(s) that best serve the Owner's interests. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may cause bid rejection. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via the email address provided on the back of the cover page of this Project Manual.
