A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The State of North Dakota, acting through its Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Waste Management (the STATE) is soliciting proposals for asbestos abatement. Asbestos abatement includes the removal and proper disposal of all asbestos containing thermal system pipe insulation (TSI), asbestos containing floor tile and associated mastic at the Devils Lake Central Middle School located at 325 7th St NE in Devils Lake, ND. Question Deadline 01/29/2026 at 3:00 PM CT Questions and objections must be submitted to the Procurement Officer in writing by the deadline identified in the RFP Schedule. Solicitation Amendment with responses to Questions issued approximately (if required) February 3, 2026. This work will be in conjunction with ongoing construction/renovation work at the school. MANDATORY Abatement Window Abatement activities may ONLY occur during May 18, 2026 through June 26, 2026. The STATE reserves the right to reject any proposals, in whole or in part. Proposals received from suspended or debarred bidders will be rejected. Proposals determined to be nonresponsive to the requirements of the RFP will be rejected. The STATE reserves the right to reject the proposal of an Offeror determined to be not responsible. The STATE reserves the right to refrain from making an award if determined to be in its best interest. Site visit description: All Offerors that plan to attend the on-site walkthrough MUST notify the Procurement Officer via email by 4:00 PM CT on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 of their intent to attend the walkthrough. If the Procurement Officer does not receive any notifications with intent to attend by the deadline, the on-site walkthrough will NOT be held or rescheduled.
