Work to be performed under this project includes replacing concrete sidewalk, installing new granite curb, drive improvements, installing a new sewer line, streetscape enhancements such as landscaping and a flagstone retaining wall, and signing and striping for crosswalks. The location is on VT Route 9 (East Main Street) from across the intersection with Beaver Street, extending easterly along VT Route 9 for approximately 1300 feet until reaching the western approach of the bridge over Beaver Brook. All bidders must be on the Agency of Transportations prequalified list under the 'Contractors List of Curb and Sidewalk Category' or have submitted a complete prequalification application a minimum of 10 working days prior to bid opening. Sealed bids must be marked in the lower left-hand corner as Bid Documents: Wilmington TAP TA 16(4) / STP BP 17(13) and accompanied by a certified check payable to the Town of Wilmington for five percent of the total bid amount, or a bid bond. There will be no pre-bid conference held for this project. This contract is governed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for Construction. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
