Site work for a mixed-use development in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a educational facility; and educational facility.
Wilkes County Public Schools is soliciting qualifications from qualified, experienced individuals or firms to provide services associated with the design, permitting, and closure (in place and/or removal) activities necessary to provide a "Turnkey" closure (in place and/or closure by removal) of Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) at various schools. The scope includes permanent closure in place or by removal of USTs at East High School, North High School, C. B. Eller Elementary School, C. C. Wright Elementary School, Mountain View Elementary School, Mulberry Elementary School, North Wilkesboro Elementary School, Ronda-Clingman Elementary School, Traphill Elementary School, and Wilkesboro Elementary School. All responses must be received by 3:00pm on March 5, 2026, at the Wilkes County Board of Education. Late submissions will not be accepted. The district reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive informalities or irregularities, request additional information for clarification, or cancel this RFQ at any time.
