Demolition for a playground / park / athletic field in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project requires the safe removal of approximately twenty-eight (28) wooden light poles around and behind the baseball and softball fields at 119 Wilkesboro Avenue, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, and staff needed to complete the work safely for employees and the public, while maintaining the integrity of the existing ballfields. The work includes the disposal of the removed light poles, fixtures, and wiring, as well as disconnection from the Memorial Park electrical system. Completion is required by April 6, 2026. Bids are evaluated on experience, qualifications, competitive pricing, and the ability to meet the project scope and schedule. Proposals may be submitted physically or electronically by the specified deadline. The Town of North Wilkesboro reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
